Café Stranden (Beach Café)

Café Stranden is located in the first row of dunes by the North Sea. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner, and runs a brunch concept on weekends. The menu is wide-ranging, so there is guaranteed to be something for everyone - even the youngest in the family. Everything on the menu is based on locally sourced ingredients and is seasonal.

The quality of the ingredients and sustainable production are of the highest priority. Locally sourced ingredients are valued and the garnish is determined based on the day's green deliveries. Throughout the season, Karen the forager ensures that the restaurant is well stocked with edibles from the great outdoors. From the first sprouts in spring to the summer's lush growth of wild herbs in the forest and fields to the late summer's forest mushrooms, berries and nuts.
