Hover Stream Valley
Hover Å Dalen offers a historical nature experience in a large and beautiful area in West Denmark. Take a hike on the great path and experience attractions from the past and a rich wildlife.
Hover Å Dalen or Hover Stream Valley is a beautiful nature area that holds many stories and memories about the past. Hover Å winds idyllically through the valley. The stream is about 11 km long and during certain time periods, you can fish here. In the area, you can spot an old water mill from the 17th century, hills from the Bronze Age and Hestbæk (“Horse Brook”), a small brook, where you, according to an old myth, can spot a headless horse at midnight. Close to Hover, Velling, Ølstrup and Tim, you can find hiking paths.
