'Mor og barn’ (‘Mother and Child’)
'Mor og barn' ('Mother and Child') is a beautiful sculpture you will find on Stationsvej close to the Reunification Stone, and was made by Hanne Varming in 1980.
The artpiece is placed at Stationsvej near the Reunion Stone.
‘Mor og barn’ (‘Mother and Child’) or ‘Venter på Far’ (‘Waiting for Dad’) from 1980 was designed by Hanne Varming, who had her debut at Charlottenburg’s Spring Exhibition in 1963. Hanne Varmingfocused on portraying people in everyday situations and she portrayed several famous people. She also worked as a medallist at the Royal Danish Mint and designed, among others, the ten and twenty kroner coins.
