Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon - Arne Haugen Sørensen Museum
Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon is located in Videbæk, and was designed by the world-famous Danish architect Henning Larsen, who was born in Opsund west of Videbæk. In Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon you will experience exciting and varied exhibitions by interesting artists. There will be everything from sculptures, paintings, photography and much more.
In the center of Videbæk is Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon - between Ringkøbing and Herning on main road 15.
Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon opened on 1 June 2012, and there has been a lot of activity since then.
Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon - Arne Haugen Sørensen Museum in Videbæk was designed by the famous Danish architect Henning Larsen who was born in Opsund West of Videbæk. He saw here, in the first of his life, the special Jutland lighting conditions.
Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon itself is built around three platforms, which run as independent units and each has its own exhibition program and form of management.
Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon also functions as an architectural and cultural lighthouse, which can help to raise the level of art and culture in West Jutland. For this reason, Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon, will house exhibitions at a high level and in the long term collaborate with artists in dialogue with other media such as design and architecture. Everything from modern painting and sculpture to photographic art, sound and light art and water art to social plastic.
